I always wanted a shell for spring skiing or windy days out and about. I bought the North Face Cipher Hybrid jacket for some spring skiing in Mammoth. The WindStopper was perfect for a beautiful day of skiing. Lightweight and breathable- I would recommend this jacket to anyone! The Cipher shell with a good base layer will keep you warm and dry on most days at your favorite mountain.

The men’s hooded Cipher Hybrid jacket from The North Face is a windproof soft shell with stretch panels for increased mobility and an athletic fit for any activity.
• Gore WindStopper® eliminates windchill, yet is breathable and dissipates excess moisture quickly so you stay dry and warm; Durable Water Repellent finish sheds moisture
• Hood and underarm/side panels are made from Apex Aerobic soft-shell fabric with 4-way stretch; it increases breathability and mobility, and decreases bulkiness
• Adjustable hood features an elastic-bound edge
• Smooth reverse-coil center front zipper has an internal windflap; brushed chin guard lining is soft next to skin
• Cipher Hybrid jacket features drawcord hem and cuffs that adjust with non-abrasive, molded rip-and-stick tabs
• Alpine zip pockets are easy to access with a pack on
